Privacy Policy
This policy covers only the personal data processed on the knoriai support site (support.knoriai.com) operated by Knori AI Ltd. (hereinafter the “Company”). Because the app itself is local-first, creative records such as artwork, artist notes, and growth logs are stored on your device by default. Only when you use cloud sync are they encrypted on your device and then kept on the Company’s servers, and they are destroyed immediately when you close your account. 1. Personal Data We Collect
The support site collects only the information strictly necessary to handle inquiries and bug reports.
- Login and account: email address (you sign in via a magic link we send to your email), account identifier
- When submitting an inquiry: subject, inquiry content (up to 5,000 characters), submission channel, processing status and priority, submission date and time
- When reporting a bug: subject, severity, steps to reproduce and description (up to 5,000 characters), processing status, submission date and time
- The minimum access logs necessary to provide the service and maintain security
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
The personal data we collect is used only for the following purposes.
The inquiries and bugs you submit are reviewed and handled by our customer support staff.
- Responding to and handling inquiries
- Confirming and fixing bugs
- Providing a feature to look up the inquiry and bug history you submitted
- Improving service quality
- Preventing misuse
3. Retention and Use Period
We retain the personal data we collect for the following periods, after which it is destroyed.
- Inquiry and bug submission records: retained for 3 years after processing is completed, then destroyed. (Basis: 'Records concerning consumer complaints or dispute resolution' under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., 3 years)
- Login account information: destroyed when you close your account. (App Settings > Account > Delete Account)
- Creative records synced to the cloud: destroyed immediately when you close your account. We keep no separate copy.
- Payment and transaction records: retained for 5 years from the transaction date, then destroyed. (Basis: 'Records concerning the payment of price and the supply of goods, etc.' under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., 5 years)
- Contract or withdrawal-of-subscription records: retained for 5 years from the date you close your account, then destroyed. (Basis: 'Records concerning contracts or the withdrawal of subscription, etc.' under the same Act, 5 years)
- Consent records (what you consented to, and when): retained for 3 years from the date you close your account, then destroyed. (Basis: 'Records concerning consumer complaints or dispute resolution' under the same Act, 3 years)
- The statutorily retained items above are kept even after you close your account, together with your email address to the extent necessary to identify the counterparty to the transaction. This information is held in a separate area isolated from service features and is destroyed automatically once its retention period expires.
4. Destruction of Personal Data
Personal data whose retention period has elapsed or whose processing purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay.
Information in the form of electronic files is deleted using a method that makes recovery impossible.
5. Outsourcing and Overseas Transfer of Personal Data Processing
The company uses trusted cloud infrastructure for login authentication and data storage.
If we outsource the processing of personal data to a third party, or if personal data is stored on servers located overseas, we will inform you in advance by reflecting that fact and its details in this policy, in accordance with applicable laws.
6. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
You may, at any time, request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal data.
- Reviewing your inquiry history: you can directly review the records you submitted on the 'My Inquiries' page.
- Deleting your account and personal data: you can do this from App Settings > Account > Delete Account.
- Other requests: please contact ceo@knoriai.com, and we will handle your request in accordance with applicable laws.
7. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Data
The company takes the following measures to keep your personal data safe.
- End-to-end HTTPS encrypted transmission: every segment over which information is exchanged is encrypted.
- Accessible only by you: access is controlled so that only the logged-in owner can view their own inquiry and bug history (row-level access control).
- Minimized access privileges: privileges to access personal data are restricted to the scope strictly necessary.
8. Precautions When Writing Inquiries or Bug Reports
Please do not include personal data such as passwords or other sensitive information in your inquiries or bug reports. Just include the information necessary for us to respond.
Other than the information you enter directly into the body of an inquiry or bug report, we do not collect any separate sensitive information. The same notice is provided on the submission screen.

The company has appointed a Personal Data Protection Officer to oversee matters relating to the processing of personal data and to respond to user inquiries.

This policy takes effect on August 3, 2026. (Previous effective date: July 8, 2026 · What changed: §3 now states the retention periods for payment, contract, and consent records that we are required by law to keep, and the scope of the email address retained in order to identify those records.)
